I highly recommend the Bambu Lab printers (linked in the title).
They are easy to set-up and very user friendly.
P1S (pictured right): Print bed is about 10in x 10in. Good for larger prints, helmets, and masks. Enclosure (door) keeps temperature consistent, helping with print success. *I own this printer.
A1 (upper left): Same print bed as the P1S but not enclosed. *I own this printer.
A1 Mini (bottom left): Print bed is about 7in x 7in. Great for smaller prints. Not enclosed. *I do NOT own this printer but have heard excellent things about it.
**AMS - The AMS allows you to print up to four colors at one time without having to pause the program and switch colors manually. You do not need to purchase this but it's helpful if you want to up your game. You may also receive a discount for purchasing the combo instead of purchasing separately.
**I would strongly recommend purchasing filament through Bambu Labs if you are new to 3D printing. Their machines are specifically designed for this filament. I mainly purchase Basic, Silk, and Matte from them. I would stay away from ABS, PETG, and Carbon Fiber starting out. They can be a little tricky to work with in the beginning.
Once you become familiar with your printer's settings, you should go wherever you find the best quality filament at the cheapest price. I generally search Amazon or purchase directly from the company. I am not sponsored by any of these brands, yet...
I recommend the following PLA, Silk, and Matte brands:
Sunlu
Elegoo
Ziro
Amolin
Flashforge
Giantarm
Overature
Hatchbox
eSun
